That is such a camp hand!X
I was once sitting outside on an early Spring morning, sipping my coffee. It was really too chilly to be out, but I was so hungry for Spring at that point that I didn't much care. I sat quietly, gazing at the back yard and suddenly a small red bird came and perched on my shoulder. I didn't dare move, hardly breathed, and was afraid to turn my head to see exactly what sort of bird it was. After about ten seconds, the bird flew off and I saw that it was a cardinal, a very young male cardinal. This was so unusual because cardinals don't generally move much in the early morning hours, so maybe he was just getting home after a night of carousing with his lady friend or something. I had no food in my hands, so I can't figure out why he landed on my shoulder like that. Maybe I was so still that he thought I was a statue? Anyway...I'm not surprised that butterflies like you. You are a person of great value and hidden kindness. I see it in your blog wording.
I have seen pictures of Red Cardinals, lovely looking birds. Thank you for your kind words Maria, talk about giving me something to live up to ;)
So you must be 'camp john'! Good to meet you John. Saw you over at Going Gently and figured anyone that followed 'that guy' has got to be OK!Good to know that you are not always a 'hmb'! lolJim
You are most welcome Jim.
A very handsome miserable bugger if I may say so. There is just one thing I would like to see change on your blog and that's the black background. It is hard on the eyes and so well black. I think you have acknowledged your down periods and should now start introducing some colour into your life. For some one who clearly enjoys nature and all thing beautiful Black has got to go.Love the fob watch by the way
Oh but the Black sets of my poorly taken pictures, almost making them viewable...... see must be working for someone to mistake me as handsome! But thank you for the compliment annie b
Forgot to say, read and watch tiny apartment living on you tube. There are lots of people who do not need much space to live, and it is very common to rent and live like this in other country's. Don't take any notice of the pressure from the want it all brigade. Be yourself and be thankful for what you have got not what you haven't . Being a slave to debt is no fun. I hope everything works out with your new accommodation.
Awww...I've just realised that it looks just like the butterfly on my necklace. But as beautiful as that butterfly is, you know very well that had I been there it wouldn't have been getting anywhere near my hand...and yes annie b he is a very handsome miserable bugger!!BJ x
Your just biased Bj, actually the butterfly looks a lot smaller in the picture.... You'd have run a country mile :)
Oh and I'm not miserable, I'm just not a people person.
Feel free to comment but no blaspheming now...
