Pictures from the getaway...

Apologies as there is no 'Shout out Monday' because I cannot be arsed this evening choosing between so many worthy blogs, added to the fact that I'm bloody knackered after a busy and frustrating day amongst the lesser mortals at the Fun factory.

So I thought I would just share a few of the pictures of my brief getaway to the lakes. It really is a place to allow the mind to rest and batteries to recharge....

The path just beckons...

Who me?...nah I wouldn't...honestly....

Waterfall through roots...

Please don't ask...

“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.”   J.R.R. Tolkien.

Till the next time, take care...

John

  2. Hi John, there is nothing quite like finding your way in nature to help clear a head. It looks like your beautiful countryside helps with that as your photos leave one breathless. Here's to sunshine and clear skies for you, slainte.

    1. Thank you Cheryl, though the photos do not do the countryside justice.

  7. Bears photo in the water reminds me of one of my favourite Harry Labrador pics the difference was he had a pile of sticks in front of him. Top Tolkien line John but there are many to choose from
